Cleaning work with a contract, a rota and a real team behind it

Hausklin employs every cleaner directly. That is unusual in German domestic cleaning, and it is deliberate: it is the only way we can promise customers the same person every visit, and the only way we can promise you a stable income.

The Hausklin team ready for the day

What working here is like

Steady rounds, familiar customers, no scrambling for shifts

Most of our cleaners see the same customers week after week. You learn a home or an office, you get a rhythm, and the work stops being a series of strangers’ front doors.

A typical part-time round is four to six properties across a defined district, all within a short journey of each other, with travel time paid. Office rounds are three to five evenings a week on a fixed route. Deep cleaning and window work runs from a van with a partner or a small team.

You do not need prior professional experience for household roles. You do need to turn up, take care of people’s homes as if they were yours, and work through the checklist honestly — including the days when nobody is there to see it. Conversational German helps, and we support colleagues taking language courses.

Why join Hausklin

Six reasons people stay with us for years

  • Paid properly, paid on time

Employed contracts above the Mindestlohn for cleaning, with social contributions, paid travel time between jobs and a monthly transport allowance. Wages land on the 28th, every month.

  • A rota you can plan a life around

Fixed rounds and fixed hours agreed with you. Part-time, school hours and evening-only contracts are normal here, not a favour — plus 28 days of paid holiday pro rata.

  • Trained, not thrown in

Two paid weeks shadowing an experienced colleague before you take a property alone, then products, safety and technique training every year.

  • Equipment and insurance from us

Machines, products, uniform and PPE are ours to buy and replace. You are covered by our liability insurance, so a broken vase is never your problem.

  • A supervisor who answers

One named supervisor for your patch who knows your round, sorts cover when you are ill, and replies to you personally rather than through a ticket system.

  • Kinder products to work with

EU Ecolabel and Blauer Engel products throughout. Less harsh on your hands and your lungs than the industrial chemistry much of this sector still runs on.

Open roles

Eight seasonal contracts, 28 places across our four cities

Every role below is a season contract built around one of our real peaks — the Frühjahrsputz rush in spring, the summer tenancy-turnover diary, handover dates on new builds, and the pre-Christmas office and stairwell run. Six of the eight are open to non-EU applicants, and we sponsor the seasonal work permit ourselves. Filter by department or hours.

How hiring works

Three conversations, then a start date

We keep it short. Most people go from first email to first shift in under three weeks.

  1. 1Email us with the role and your availability. A CV is welcome but a short note about your experience is enough to start.
  2. 2A 15-minute video meeting with the city supervisor to talk about hours, districts and what the work actually involves.
  3. 3A meeting at the local office: ID, right-to-work and police certificate checked, contract explained, questions answered.
  4. 4Your first two paid weeks are spent shadowing an experienced colleague on a real round before you take a property alone.

Nothing here that fits? Write to us anyway.

We open new rounds most months, and speculative applications are the first place our supervisors look. Tell us your city, your hours and what you have done before.
