Cleaning for German homes, done the same way every visit
Whether it is a two-room flat in Ehrenfeld or a family house in Bogenhausen, the work runs off a written checklist you approve. Same cleaner, same order of work, same result — and full insurance behind all of it.
Regular cleaning
Weekly or fortnightly visits from the cleaner you already know, in the slot you already keep.
A typical three-room Berlin apartment takes three to three and a half hours. We work top to bottom and clean to dry, so nothing lands on a surface we have already finished. You approve the checklist before the first visit and can change it whenever your household does.
What is on the checklist
- Kitchen: worktops, hob, sink, splashback, fronts of units, appliance exteriors
- Bathrooms: WC, basin, bath and shower, screens, tiles, mirrors, taps descaled
- Living and bedrooms: dusting, surfaces, mirrors, skirtings on rotation
- Floors: vacuumed throughout and wet-mopped on hard surfaces
- Bins emptied and separated to the building’s Mülltrennung
- Beds made or changed if you leave the linen out

Deep cleaning
The reset that a weekly clean cannot do — everything moved, everything treated.
German water is hard almost everywhere, and limescale is what makes a bathroom look tired long before it is worn out. A deep clean strips it back: acid treatment on screens and tiles with the right dwell time, oven and extractor degreased, inside cupboards, behind and under appliances, radiators, window frames and light fittings.
What is on the checklist
- Limescale removed from screens, tiles, taps and shower heads
- Oven, hob, extractor filters and microwave degreased inside and out
- Fridge and freezer emptied, cleaned and deodorised on request
- Inside kitchen and bathroom cupboards wiped and relined
- Behind and beneath moveable appliances and furniture
- Skirtings, door frames, radiators, switches and handles

End-of-tenancy cleaning
Endreinigung to a standard that survives the handover inspection.
Most German contracts ask for besenrein, but landlords and Hausverwaltungen routinely inspect against a much higher bar and hold back deposit when it is not met. We clean the flat empty, document the finished condition with dated photographs, and give you a written task record you can attach to the Übergabeprotokoll.
What is on the checklist
- Every room cleaned empty, including inside all fitted storage
- Kitchen stripped: oven, hob, extractor, fridge, dishwasher seals and filters
- Bathrooms descaled, grout treated, silicone checked and reported
- Windows cleaned inside and out where access allows, plus frames and sills
- Balcony, cellar compartment and shared bike store on request
- Dated photo record and a signed task list for your handover file

These are priced as part of the visit rather than as a separate job, so there is no second call-out and no minimum charge.

Practical questions
The things people actually ask us
- Do I need to be at home?
- No. Most customers give us a key, which we hold in a numbered safe with no address on the tag. You can also let us in each time if you prefer — we keep the slot fixed either way.
- Do you bring your own products?
- Yes, everything including the vacuum. All products are EU Ecolabel or Blauer Engel certified. If you would rather we used your own products for a particular surface, just leave them out.
- What about pets?
- Tell us on the quote form. Our cleaners are used to dogs and cats, and we adjust the vacuuming allowance for shedding breeds rather than rushing it.
- What if something gets broken?
- We tell you the same day and replace it. Our public liability cover runs to €5 million, and accidental damage to contents we handle is included.
- Can I skip a week?
- Yes, with 48 hours’ notice and no charge. Later than that and we bill half the visit, because the cleaner has already lost the slot.
- Is it always the same person?
- Yes. Holidays and sickness are covered by a colleague who is briefed on your checklist first, so the visit still matches what you agreed.
